Benefits for Nonprofits
NetworkWilliamsburg works to support nonprofits in the greater Williamsburg area by connecting them to people & businesses in the community. The mission of NetworkWilliamsburg is to raise awareness of the needs in the greater Williamsburg area, encourage involvement from the community, and strengthen nonprofits by increasing resources available to them. Our vision is to develop ongoing relationships with businesses, civic and faith-based groups, and individuals in the community; and to find resources and opportunities that will help equip nonprofits with the tools needed to survive, and thrive, in today's economy.

Annual registration for nonprofits is just $25 with your completed Registration Form. As a Registered Nonprofit, you receive the following benefits:

Interactive Website — Post your volunteer, service, or item needs on our website for the entire community to review and respond to AND see items, volunteer availability or services that businesses and community members have posted on our site for your nonprofit to use!

Free Continuing Education – Attend free workshops designed specifically for nonprofit leaders, Board, and staff. Gain insight into how you can develop the tools needed to survive and thrive in today’s economy. Topics include social media marketing, Board development, strategic planning, volunteer management, estate & endowment planning, and more!

Grants Research – Review our grants database which provides upcoming deadlines by program category, with direct links to foundation websites and RFPs.

Nonprofit Network – Participate in our monthly networking groups to share ideas with other nonprofit leaders, hear from guest speakers, and serve as a sounding board for each other.

Networking Events – Our Network After Hours events bring nonprofit leaders together with business leaders who support our community. These are great opportunities for you to raise awareness about what you do.

Youth Network – Be a part of our “Aware Fairs” and speaker’s bureaus to make youth in our community more aware of the volunteer opportunities available to them and how they can help you!

Corporate Fundraisers – Participate in fundraising opportunities that we coordinate with area businesses to benefit multiple nonprofits.

Preferred Provider Network – With your membership, your nonprofit AND your employees will receive special discounts from participating businesses in the community.

Collection Drives – Benefit from annual collection drives of program supplies and office supplies that we coordinate throughout the community to benefit multiple nonprofits. Be included in year-round donations that we coordinate with area businesses and organizations.
