This week's Featured Nonprofit is...
|
(Every week, NetworkWilliamsburg will highlight a different nonprofit organization and the wonderful work they do for our community.) OLDE TOWNE MEDICAL CENTER.
OTMC is a rural health center operating as a family practice. Paid and volunteer medical professionals and support staff provide medical and dental services through more than 1,200 patient visits per month, and an average of 600 hours of service.
Mark your calendars now for the The 16th annual Autumn Leaf Golf Classic, one of OTMC's main fundraising events, to be held at the Golden Horseshoe Green Course in Colonial Williamsburg on Friday, November 7, 2008. Once again, eight amateur golfers will have an opportunity to participate in the “Million Dollar Shoot-Out” and a chance to take home a $1 million dollar annuity just for sinking a ball from 165 yards! For more information, contact Elaine Carlton at 259-3250. For more information on Olde Towne Medical Center, click here.

It's Hurricane Season -- are you ready? There are many precautions we can take to be better prepared, including purchasing supplies, making a family plan, knowing how to take care of pets, and reviewing evacuation procedures.
